About

I am biologist with interests in ecology, evolution and conservation. I have just been awarded a PhD from UNSW Sydney for my research focusing on the rapid evolution of introduced plants, and am currently continuing that work as a Research Assistant in UNSW’s Evolution and Ecology Research Centre. I think plants are cool! But I also love wildlife, and so undertook my initial training in zoology. In addition I have an MSc in conservation, and so my goal for future work is to get on with the business of saving the world.

I have several high-quality publications  and was awarded Outstanding Evolution and Ecology Postgraduate Researcher of 2018. I also have wide-ranging experience in outreach, media and teaching. Further details are available on my CV page, or please contact me with any other questions. Thanks for visiting!
